Senior Analyst - Transfer Pricing

Role Overview

This Senior Analyst position is with the Transfer Pricing team based in Brisbane, focusing on complex transfer pricing projects for multinational organizations. The role involves applying Australian and OECD guidelines across various issues including tangible goods, intellectual property, services, financial transactions, and corporate restructurings. You will be contributing to local and global documentation, ATO audit support, Advance Pricing Agreement negotiations, and benchmarking intercompany arrangements using financial and economic data.

Responsibilities

Within this role, you will manage key workstreams, collaborating with managers and senior leaders on deliverables, attending client meetings, and providing informed advice integrated with broader tax solutions. You’ll also guide junior team members through work review and knowledge sharing, fostering team capability while developing leadership skills.

The Transfer Pricing group is part of Deloitte’s Tax & Legal practice, offering integrated, high-quality tax guidance for clients across numerous industries confronting intricate cross-border tax challenges. Candidate Profile

• Proven experience with Australian transfer pricing requirements.
• Background in transfer pricing or related fields such as corporate tax, international tax, economics, valuations, or financial markets.
• Strong analytical skills covering financial, economic or statistical data.
• Commercially astute, preferably with academic credentials in economics, commerce, or law.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple competing priorities effectively.
• Demonstrated experience supporting and mentoring less senior staff.
• Legal right to work in Australia.
