Overview
The Insights product at Guidepoint is a fresh offering designed for institutional investment and corporate clientele, comprising teleconferences, surveys, and live events. Teleconferences are archived within a transcript library portal, covering numerous industries and topics to aid client decision-making. Content features experts from Guidepoint's exclusive global network and is conceptualized and hosted by former investment professionals including private equity, hedge fund veterans, sell-side equity analysts, and domain specialists.
This role collaborates closely with the Insights team located in the EMEA region.
Responsibilities
- Monitor a diverse portfolio of private companies within the TMT sector, emphasizing private and growth equity segments.
- Track significant industry trends, breaking news, earnings updates, investor presentations, and pertinent research across key markets.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of company- and industry-specific subjects, generating innovative topics such as business updates, event studies, channel checks, trending issues, and investment narratives.
- Organize and facilitate teleconferences featuring experts from Guidepoint’s network to deliver actionable insights for clients.
- Review teleconference transcripts to ensure content quality and accurately summarize main discussion points.
- Ensure adherence to Guidepoint’s compliance guidelines and protocols.
- Take ownership of calls by verifying expert relevance and maintaining accurate expert profiles.
- Collaborate with research teams to identify and onboard additional industry specialists into the Expert Network, nurturing relationships with both experts and clients.
Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor's or Master’s degree.
- Over five years of experience in financial services or research firms focusing on FinTech, Technology, Consumer, or Utilities sectors.
- Understanding of workflows in institutional buy-side and sell-side research and investment processes.
- Capability to manage time effectively and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to communicate at all professional levels.
- Intellectual curiosity and eagerness to learn continuously.
- Proven ability to operate independently and collaboratively, with a willingness to guide and mentor junior colleagues.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
