Role Overview
The Senior Analyst will function as a Business Development Representative (BDR), playing a pivotal role in driving company growth. Primary responsibilities include generating fresh business prospects by prospecting and qualifying leads, initiating contact with potential clients, and nurturing existing client accounts for upselling opportunities. The role requires collaboration with account executives and sales managers to boost revenue and fulfill quota and KPI expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential customers within designated market segments.
- Engage potential clients through phone and other communication channels to schedule interactions for account executives.
- Screen leads to ensure they meet criteria such as budget, authority to decide, and timeline for making purchases.
- Interact with present clients to uncover and book chances for cross-selling, arranging meetings for sales executives.
- Work jointly with sales managers and account executives to devise and implement strategies to penetrate untapped markets and elevate revenues.
- Consistently achieve daily and weekly key performance indicators.
- Report regularly on progress and activities related to sales goals.
- Stay updated on company offerings, services, and market developments for effective client communications and appointment setting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Education credentials including a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or equivalent relevant field or experience.
- Proficient to moderately advanced skills using Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities paired with a proactive outlook.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and respect deadlines.
- Self-motivated with the ability to operate both independently and collaboratively within a team.
