Role Overview
We are recruiting a Senior AI/ML Engineer with deep expertise in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and Search Generative Experience (SGE). The role demands designing, implementing, and managing AI/ML production pipelines and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, alongside engineering ranking models, semantic search solutions, and content structuring approaches to enhance brand discoverability on next-generation AI-powered search and conversational platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design and execution of GEO, AEO, and SGE projects for maximizing brand prominence within AI search interfaces and LLM-based conversational systems.
- Construct and deploy robust AI/ML models utilizing large language models, NLP techniques, semantic search, embeddings, RAG frameworks, and vector databases.
- Conduct thorough analysis of search intent, retrieval behavior in LLMs, citation flows, and ranking factors to develop predictive rank models tailored to generative search engines.
- Develop experimentation pipelines and evaluation methodologies to assess effectiveness of GEO/AEO strategies, including metrics like response latency, accuracy, and retrieval quality.
- Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, SEO, Content, and Marketing to transform business needs into scalable structured data schemas and contextual architectures.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of focused experience in rank modeling specific to GEO applications.
- At least 5 years of practical expertise in GEO, AEO, or SGE, particularly optimizing conversational search engines and interfaces powered by large language models.
- Hands-on skillset encompassing prompt engineering, vector embeddings, vector search technologies, and retrieval-augmented generation architectures.
- Comprehensive understanding of modern generative search ecosystems such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and Perplexity, including LLM response generation, retrieval, and ranking mechanics.
- Proven knowledge in structuring content for AI processing using schemas, knowledge graphs, entity optimization, and context building techniques.
- Educational credentials comprising a B.Tech or dual degree (B.Tech + M.Tech / Integrated MS) from premier engineering institutes (IITs, NITs, BITS, VIT, DTU, NSUT).
- Professional background exclusively within top-tier, large-scale product companies; candidates from Tier-2 firms are ineligible.
