Senior AI/ML Engineer

About the Role

Join our team as the lead developer for an AI-driven travel recommendation platform. You will be responsible for leveraging large language models and intelligent systems to deliver highly personalized experiences to millions.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and enhance AI recommendation algorithms tailored to user needs.
• Integrate and fine-tune large language models including Anthropic Claude and OpenAI GPT.
• Develop real-time AI inference systems using FastAPI frameworks.
• Design and deploy GraphQL APIs with Strawberry for efficient data handling.
• Improve AI model responsiveness by optimizing performance and reducing latency.
• Apply caching solutions to boost AI response times.
• Work closely with product teams to conceptualize and implement AI-driven features.
• Explore and prototype innovative AI functionalities to keep the product at the cutting edge.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of five years in software development, with at least three focused on AI and ML systems.
• Proficient in Python programming, including asynchronous coding techniques.
• Experience working with FastAPI or comparable web frameworks.
• Practical knowledge of large language model APIs such as OpenAI and Anthropic.
• Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and natural language processing.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL database systems and Redis caching technology.
• Strong analytical thinking and effective problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Extras

• Prior involvement in building recommendation engines.
• Knowledge of the Strawberry GraphQL library.
• Experience utilizing Pydantic for data validation processes.
• Background or interest in AI applications within the travel or hospitality sectors.
