Senior AI Engineer - LLM

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior AI Engineer with over six years in software development, passionate about delivering scalable artificial intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a robust engineering approach and practical expertise in generative AI, particularly with large language models (LLMs). This position offers growth opportunities towards a role focusing on AI solution architecture, including design and strategic technical decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop AI-driven applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Create AI workflows and develop agent-based solutions using technologies such as LangChain and LangGraph.
• Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) approaches for knowledge-centric applications.
• Participate in designing comprehensive AI architectures that emphasize scalability, maintainability, and high performance.
• Enhance prompt systems, manage contextual information, optimize memory usage, and refine AI workflows to ensure efficient and reliable operation.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver maintainable and scalable AI systems.
• Engage in technical design discussions, influence architecture decisions, and promote engineering best practices.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation and assist in deploying AI solutions to production environments.

Technical and Professional Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of professional software development experience with strong command of Python programming.
• Practical experience working with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, or comparable open-source LLM platforms.
• Proficiency in AI agent frameworks including LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith, or similar.
• In-depth knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) framework and related AI application workflows.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Competence in prompt engineering, LLM fine-tuning, and agent-based AI software development.
• Familiarity with designing scalable applications and deploying them in production environments.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities, effective communication, and teamwork skills.
• At least 1 year of experience each with LangChain and LangGraph specifically.
• A minimum of 5 years working extensively with Python.
