Senior AI Consultant

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced AI consultant to guide our choice of AI tools, critically assess published outputs, and craft effective inference solutions using open-source models. Our organization creates media and educational materials centered on personal growth, leveraging AI throughout research, production, and validation processes. We require a professional capable of discerning meaningful innovation from overhyped claims and transforming model options into deployable implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on AI software and tools applicable to research, content creation, operational tasks, and production workflows, identifying what merits adoption and what does not along with justifications.
• Scrutinize and authenticate all claims, operational methods, and technical documentation prior to internal dissemination or public sharing.
• Advise on selecting open AI models and develop inference architectures—whether hosted or local—including recommendations regarding model selection, deployment strategies, hardware versus cost considerations, latency impact, and output quality.
• Conduct comparative analyses of closed-source versus open-source solutions to determine appropriate use cases for each.
• Identify and communicate limitations, potential failure mechanisms, licensing restrictions, and risks related to data handling.

Required Qualifications

• In-depth practical expertise with open AI models such as large language models (LLMs) and associated architectures, including implementing inference pipelines.
• Direct hands-on experience testing and evaluating AI tools beyond theoretical knowledge or review of release notes.
• Ability to compose clear, precise explanations of technical recommendations that are accessible to audiences without specialist backgrounds without oversimplification.
• Confidence and evidence-based approach to challenge inaccurate assertions or immature technologies with objective feedback.

Desirable Assets

• Experience working with voice AI technologies including speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and real-time voice generation models.
• Familiarity with video synthesis models and related content production workflows.
• Track record advising small teams focused on media or content development.
