Senior AI Architect

About the Role

Accellor requires a seasoned AI Architect with deep expertise in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence, especially someone who has evolved into an AI architectural role. The successful applicant will spearhead the design of enterprise AI solutions, guide delivery teams architecturally, and actively engage in client interactions, presales, solution showcases, and technical presentations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive AI, Generative AI, and Machine Learning solution architectures.
• Convert client business objectives into scalable AI architecture designs.
• Establish AI architectural standards, technology selections, integration strategies, and deployment frameworks.
• Develop AI solutions utilizing Python and Microsoft Azure platforms.
• Collaborate across AI/ML models, APIs, data infrastructure, cloud services, and business applications.
• Lead technical teams comprising Data Scientists, ML Engineers, AI Engineers, and software developers.
• Create scalable production environments covering model creation, deployment, monitoring, and governance.
• Support solutions involving Generative AI, Large Language Models, and enterprise AI cases as needed.
• Contribute to presales efforts with solution design, technical proposals, and cost estimation.
• Conduct client-facing presentations, workshops, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept sessions.
• Work jointly with delivery and product teams to transition solutions from concept or POC to full production.
• Ensure AI solutions adhere to scalability, security, performance, and responsible AI standards for enterprises.
• Travel within the UAE to client sites as necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of 12 years in technology and data-related roles.
• Significant foundational experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI Engineering.
• At least 2-3 years specifically dedicated to AI Architecture or Solution Architecture.
• Proficient in Python programming.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
• Track record in designing enterprise-level AI and ML solutions.
• Strong understanding of contemporary AI technologies including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI, LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures, AI APIs and their integration, MLOps/LLMOps, model deployment and monitoring, data pipelines, and cloud architectures.
• Capability to develop production-quality AI solutions rather than experimental models.
• Excellent communication, client interaction, and presentation skills.
• Experienced in presales support, technical demonstrations, and solution-focused workshops.
• Background in consulting or system integration is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Azure AI Services, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure OpenAI.
• Familiarity with enterprise Generative AI and Large Language Model deployments.
• Experience consulting for UAE government or large enterprise clients.
• Previous roles at Big 4 firms, Accenture, global consulting firms, or top-tier technology service providers preferred.

Ideal Profile

The ideal candidate is a senior professional who originated in Data Science or Machine Learning, moved up to AI Engineering and leadership roles, and is now functioning as an AI Architect. This role is not suited for candidates focused solely on traditional data architecture or analytics.
