As the company expands globally, it seeks motivated, inquisitive professionals eager to engage with cutting-edge AI technologies, tackle complex challenges, and help shape the future of advertising.

Role Overview

This role requires a seasoned Senior Ad Operations expert to execute, refine, and troubleshoot programmatic advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate has substantial hands-on experience with major Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs) like Google Display & Video 360 (DV360), The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, or other similar platforms. They must fully grasp the entire campaign lifecycle, from initial setup and targeting strategies to pacing, optimization, reporting, and issue resolution.

This position involves managing several campaigns simultaneously, leveraging performance data to identify and correct delivery problems, and applying optimization techniques to boost campaign effectiveness and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish, launch, oversee, and enhance programmatic ad campaigns across major DSPs including DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, among others.
  • Organize campaign frameworks involving advertisers, insertion orders, line items, creatives, budgets, bids, targeting parameters, frequency controls, and campaign durations.
  • Track daily campaign metrics like delivery, pacing, budget spend, overall performance, and relevant KPIs.
  • Adjust campaigns to meet objectives such as CPM, CPC, CPA, CTR, viewability, completion rates, conversions, and return on advertising spend.
  • Handle targeting for audiences, contexts, geography, devices, inventory types, placements, and supply sources.
  • Diagnose and fix issues including underdelivery, budget overshoot, low win rates, creative malfunctions, tracking inconsistencies, and inventory shortages.
  • Analyze DSP reports to discover opportunities for optimizing campaign performance and media efficiency.
  • Manage and verify pixels, conversion trackers, click and impression trackers, alongside third-party measurement tools.
  • Engage with programmatic inventory spanning display, video, mobile applications, connected TV, and other digital media formats.
  • Understand the flow of programmatic buying, including interactions among DSPs, SSPs, exchanges, publishers, and measurement services, and troubleshoot as necessary.
  • Collaborate with internal commercial and technical teams to align on campaign needs, available inventory, targeting plans, and performance metrics.
  • Create comprehensive campaign reports and effectively communicate performance insights, challenges, and optimization strategies to stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to campaign schedules and specifications.

Required Qualifications

  • Over three years of practical experience managing programmatic campaigns and ad operations.
  • Demonstrated operational proficiency with at least one major DSP platform, ideally Google DV360.
  • Proven experience directly creating and administrating campaigns within DSPs rather than solely reviewing reporting.
  • Solid understanding of programmatic advertising concepts, such as real-time bidding (RTB), DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, auctions, CPM metrics, bid floors, and various targeting methods.
  • Experience handling campaign pacing, budget control, bidding strategies, optimization, and troubleshooting.
  • A clear grasp of display and video advertising formats and creative technical standards.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and confidence making data-driven optimization decisions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail coupled with the ability to manage multiple campaigns concurrently.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English communication.

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with platforms such as The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, Xandr, Yahoo DSP or others beyond DV360.
  • Exposure to campaigns involving Connected TV (CTV), video, and mobile applications.
  • Knowledge of OpenRTB protocols, VAST standards, Prebid integrations, ads.txt/app-ads.txt, sellers.json, and programmatic supply chain frameworks.
  • Experience using third-party verification and measurement tools like DoubleVerify or IAS.
  • Background working collaboratively with both buying and selling side programmatic teams.

Cultural and Work Expectations

  • Availability to primarily work during 9:30 AM to 6:30 PM Eastern Time.
  • Demonstrates a player/coach attitude, adept at both executing tasks and providing leadership.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Receptive to and capable of giving direct feedback.
  • Team-oriented with excellent collaborative skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, adaptability, and strong learning aptitude.
  • Curious and research-driven, with a data-informed approach.
  • Proactively seeks solutions and applies them effectively.
  • Confident in creativity and communication.
  • Exhibits proactive communication habits.
  • Possesses a sense of humor and appreciation for online culture.
  • Thrives in dynamic, start-up work environments.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary package.
  • Annual performance bonuses.
  • Paid time off benefits.
