Fintram Global is a professional services firm dedicated to providing high-caliber accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial advisory services. We are seeking a seasoned and detail-focused Senior Accountant to enhance our finance department and guarantee precise financial reporting alongside stringent statutory compliance.
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate books of accounts using Tally and ensure all financial transactions are correctly recorded.
- Prepare and audit monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements.
- Manage complete GST compliance processes such as filing returns, performing reconciliations including input tax credit (ITC), and addressing inquiries from tax authorities.
- Oversee TDS compliance including deduction, deposit, filing returns, issuance of certificates, and reconciliation tasks.
- Ensure compliance with Registrar of Companies (ROC) mandates, including the preparation and submission of annual returns, financial statements, board resolutions, and statutory forms under the Companies Act.
- Conduct bank reconciliations, scrutinize ledgers, and handle month-end as well as year-end closing activities.
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, banks, and regulators during audits and assessments.
- Compile MIS reports, cash flow statements, budgets, and financial analyses for management review.
- Monitor statutory deadlines to guarantee timely compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Review accounting entries and mentor junior accounting personnel to ensure adherence to accounting standards.
- Support management in financial planning, internal control enhancement, and process optimization initiatives.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, CA Inter, CMA Inter, or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in accounting, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Strong proficiency in Tally ERP/TallyPrime.
- In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, and ROC compliance procedures.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and the MS Office suite.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills and interpersonal competence.
Preferred Competencies
- Experience managing multiple client accounts or handling group company finances.
- Familiarity with payroll processing and related statutory compliances.
- Awareness of accounting automation technologies and ERP systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work autonomously while juggling multiple tasks and adhering to deadlines.
