Senior Accountant

Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to take full ownership of crucial parts of the monthly closing and financial reporting processes. This role requires deep technical accounting expertise combined with strong operational discipline to ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness of financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage designated components of the monthly and quarterly close process.
• Prepare journal entries, reconcile accounts, and generate supporting schedules.
• Maintain the general ledger with strict adherence to US GAAP standards.
• Assist external auditors by providing documentation and conducting analyses.
• Collaborate with Financial Planning & Analysis teams to perform variance analysis and support management reporting.
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and contribute to automating manual tasks.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, including responsibility for monthly closing cycles.
• Thorough understanding of US GAAP principles.
• Proficient in ERP or accounting software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or comparable systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities, including pivot tables, lookups, and financial modeling.
• CPA certification or progress towards CPA is advantageous.
• Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
