Senior Accountant

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join Montu Shallu Knitwears in Ludhiana, Punjab. The successful candidate will oversee daily accounting functions, ensure statutory compliance, and provide crucial financial insights to support business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting tasks and operations.
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and reconcile accounts systematically.
• Manage GST, TDS, income tax processes, and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Supervise monitoring of accounts payable and receivable as well as cash flow management.
• Coordinate audit processes and verify adherence to company policies.
• Formulate budgets, forecasts, and conduct detailed financial analyses.
• Lead and mentor junior accounting personnel to enhance team effectiveness.
• Ensure accurate and punctual closure of month-end and year-end accounts.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
• Have at least five years of experience in accounting roles.
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, and financial reporting standards.
• Skilled in using accounting software such as Tally, ERP systems, and advanced MS Excel functionalities.
• Exhibit strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
