Job description
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Accountant with 3 to 6 years of experience to join our team at Institute Of Selection, located in Sector 37, Gurgaon. Candidates with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) or Master of Commerce (M.Com) degree are preferred. The role involves comprehensive financial management and statutory compliance responsibilities essential for organizational operations.
Primary Duties
- Oversee daily bookkeeping tasks including accounting entries, billing, and financial record maintenance.
- Develop and monitor monthly budgets while reviewing sales and purchase documentation for accuracy.
- Conduct bank reconciliation processes and finalize account settlements consistently.
- Prepare and manage GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, LUT, and perform GST reconciliations.
- Handle TDS and TCS related payments, file returns, and generate necessary certificates promptly.
- Manage statutory compliance filings such as Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), Labour Welfare Fund (LWF), and other mandatory returns.
- Administer payroll accounting tasks including salary computations, postings, and PF challan preparation.
- Compile and finalize balance sheets and comprehensive financial reports within deadlines.
- Maintain up-to-date accounting records daily and ensure all statutory compliances are met timely.
- Possess working knowledge of E-way billing and other billing procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in Tally accounting software and MS Excel alongside general MS Office tools.
- Strong grasp of accounting principles, bank reconciliations, and financial controls.
- Expertise in GST compliance, including filing and reconciliation, alongside TDS/TCS management.
- Comprehensive understanding of statutory deductions and filings such as PF, ESI, and taxation regulations.
Compensation and Location
The position offers a monthly salary ranging from INR 30,000 to 50,000. The job is based at Sector 37, Gurgaon.
