About the Role

We are collaborating with an international technology company seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance team and play an influential role across the DACH region. This position is ideal for an experienced, certified accountant who thrives in a global work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and take full responsibility for the month-end accounting close and financial reporting processes.
• Handle accounting tasks across several entities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery of financial data.
• Engage with local finance teams and centralized offshore finance functions to address queries and enhance reporting quality.
• Assist with the annual external audit, serving as the main liaison for auditors.
• Perform detailed reviews of balance sheet accounts to maintain robust financial controls.
• Identify and propose improvements to existing procedures to increase efficiency and streamline operations.
• Participate in ongoing finance transformation initiatives and systems upgrades supporting organizational growth.

Qualifications & Skills

• Professional accounting qualification is mandatory.
• Experience working in multi-entity setups or international finance environments.
• Comprehensive technical knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Fluency in both German and English languages is required.
• Self-motivated individual with a proactive approach and eagerness to grow within an international finance team.
