Senior Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and meticulous Senior Accountant to oversee daily financial tasks, including billing, inventory monitoring, and adherence to statutory compliances. Candidates with prior experience in CA firms or corporate distribution environments, proficient in Tally and advanced Excel, will be ideal.

Primary Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of daily billing activities, including creation of e-way bills and sales/purchase invoices.
• Conduct bank reconciliations regularly for multiple corporate bank accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Handle GST-related functions such as data preparation, collaboration with tax advisors, and filing of returns following approval.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable by maintaining vendor/customer ledgers, monitoring aging reports, and executing systematic payment reminders.
• Generate financial documentation including consumption reports, stock registers, and material cost estimates using Tally and Excel.
• Liaise with clients and vendors to validate bookings and ensure accurate dispatch records for material shipments.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in core accounting, taxation, and billing roles, with preference for candidates familiar with CA firms managing diverse portfolios.
• Advanced proficiency in Tally software and MS Excel, including managing large datasets, automated ledgers, and comprehensive reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of GST compliance, filing protocols, and calculations involving penalties or interests.
• Ability to multitask effectively, maintain high accuracy under pressure, and work cohesively within a team.
• Preference for candidates who are either local to Pune or able to commute conveniently to the office.

Additional Information

Compensation: The salary range is between 20,000 and 22,000 INR per month.
