Senior 3D Modeler

Position Summary

Simul Digital Private Limited seeks a Senior 3D Modeler with over 4 years of experience to join their dedicated in-house CGI team in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. This full-time, on-site role operates Monday to Friday, from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. The successful candidate will specialize in translating reference photos, technical drawings, and measurements into detailed, production-ready 3D representations of furniture and various products.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce precise 3D furniture, upholstery, and hard-surface product models using 3ds Max.
• Interpret and model accurately using reference images and technical specifications.
• Recreate intricate features such as fabric textures, stitching, seams, cushions, and structural furniture elements.
• Ensure models maintain clean topology with proper edge flow and smoothing group configurations suited for production.
• Design effective UV layouts and optimize models for efficient rendering processes.
• Apply Physically Based Rendering (PBR) materials and conduct test renders using V-Ray or Corona engines.
• Validate scale and proportions to precisely match final outputs with reference materials.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of four years professional experience in 3D modeling, with preference for furniture or product visualization.
• Expert-level skills in Autodesk 3ds Max software.
• Proven ability in both high-poly and low-poly modeling workflows, specifically with furniture and upholstery.
• Comprehensive understanding of UV unwrapping/mapping techniques, smoothing groups, and edge flow for topology.
• Familiarity with PBR material workflows and foundational knowledge of V-Ray or Corona rendering software; proficiency with Blender is beneficial.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong ability to replicate real-world references in digital models.
