Position Summary
The Selling Associate is responsible for increasing store sales while offering exceptional customer service and demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge and expertise in the lingerie category.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth by actively engaging customers and selling products directly.
- Approach customers proactively, interpret their cues, and respond appropriately to serve their needs.
- Provide expert guidance on bra fitting by asking targeted questions.
- Convert returns and promotional offers into larger sales opportunities.
- Deliver fast and friendly checkout experiences, accurately processing transactions at the point of sale.
- Encourage additional purchases during checkout and maintain the cash wrap area.
- Prepare merchandise for sales floor display, maintain back stock areas, and replenish products to brand standards.
- Support markdowns, re-ticketing, and out-of-stock marking activities as required.
- Execute floor set assignments effectively while adhering to visual merchandising guidelines and brand standards.
- Maintain housekeeping of sales floor and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Promote loss prevention measures, reducing shrinkage.
- Foster customer loyalty through store reward programs and deliver a safe work environment.
- Physically able to lift up to 40 pounds and perform frequent bending, stretching, walking, and prolonged standing.
