Key Duties

• Assist customers in using self-checkout stations efficiently by providing guidance and monitoring activity, addressing any required interventions kindly, and escalating cash or technical issues to management.
• Respond to Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) alerts following established protocols and accurately log any “Failure to Deactivate” instances.
• Ensure that Scan & Go devices are returned properly to their designated storage locations after use.
• Be flexible with work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, adapting as needed to support store operations and customer service quality.

Challenges and Physical Requirements

• Effectively manage busy, fast-paced work periods, including overnight shifts, by maintaining energy and focus through proper planning.
• Handle physically demanding tasks such as standing for long durations, bending, and lifting items weighing up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Perform repetitive duties like stocking, zoning, and organizing merchandise carefully to meet store standards.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this role is $16.15.
