Role Overview

The Security Specialist position is a full-time on-site role located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. This role is charged with protecting company assets, employees, information, and infrastructure by implementing and maintaining robust security policies and procedures. Daily responsibilities include monitoring physical access points, managing security systems, performing inspections to identify and address risks, and handling basic cybersecurity and information security tasks. The role also involves incident reporting and collaboration with internal departments and external officials as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and control physical access to company premises ensuring compliance with security protocols.
• Monitor and manage security systems and carry out regular inspections to detect potential vulnerabilities.
• Implement fundamental cybersecurity and information security measures to safeguard digital data.
• Prepare incident reports and coordinate response efforts with relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain comprehensive security documentation and assist in training initiatives to promote security awareness.
• Contribute to ongoing enhancement of security policies and standards across the organization.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Proficient knowledge in Cybersecurity and Information Security, including data protection and threat recognition.
• Skilled in Physical Security management such as access control, surveillance systems, and incident response methodologies.
• Understanding of Network Security principles, familiarity with firewalls, secure network setups, and basic monitoring tools.
• Strong communication skills for effective reporting, stakeholder coordination, and conveying security protocols.
• Experience in corporate or industrial security environments is advantageous, along with knowledge of applicable regulations and standards.
• Competence in assessing risks and planning security strategies.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality, make sound judgements, and work collaboratively with diverse teams on-site in Jodhpur.
• Possession of a diploma or degree in security management, information technology, or a related discipline; professional security or cybersecurity certifications are considered a plus.
