About the Opportunity

As demand for Security & Risk expertise expands, we are seeking a Security & Risk Consultant to assist clients in achieving safer, more resilient outcomes within critical infrastructure and complex operational settings, specifically focusing on data centres. This role enables progression beyond routine security tasks into consultancy, helping clients comprehend risks, influence decisions, and implement effective security measures.

This position concentrates on physical, personnel, procedural, and electronic security rather than cybersecurity. Projects range from critical infrastructure to government, commercial, and technological environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct security risk, threat, and vulnerability evaluations.
• Offer security guidance for significant infrastructure, data centre, and development initiatives.
• Support security-in-design evaluations from conception through to completion.
• Develop trusted client relationships and aid in business advancement.

About You

Applicants may come from various backgrounds such as security operations, defence, intelligence, government security, law enforcement, corporate security, risk management, resilience, or advisory roles requiring analytical insight and sound judgement. This role suits candidates with foundational security, risk, or advisory expertise aiming to advance their consulting career.

You should be capable of analyzing complex issues, assessing risks, and delivering practical advice that aids organizations in improved decision-making. Effective communication and adaptability to diverse stakeholders and environments are essential.

Experience related to critical infrastructure, government security, or data centres is advantageous though a wide range of backgrounds are welcomed. Curiosity, commercial insight, and a genuine dedication to enhancing client security outcomes are valued.

Eligibility to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances and licenses is required due to project sensitivities.
