Job description
Role Overview
As a Security Officer, you will be tasked with safeguarding client premises by controlling access, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding effectively to security incidents. This role demands vigilance in patrolling assigned areas, verifying credentials of personnel and visitors, and managing various security equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage static and access control points to regulate entry and exit.
- Verify and scrutinize passes and identification documents at entry points.
- Screen individuals and vehicles entering and leaving premises.
- Conduct patrols to ensure safety of personnel and property.
- Operate detection devices including metal and explosive detectors, as well as x-ray machines at checkpoints.
- Issue visitor and contractor passes upon collecting identification cards.
- Respond promptly to alarm activations and security incidents.
- Monitor closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems for unusual activities.
- Investigate and manage incidents such as unattended baggage.
- Maintain detailed records and reports of all incidents.
- Check validity of boarding, staff, and entry passes diligently.
