Role Overview

This full-time, on-site Security Officer position based in Odisha, India involves safeguarding premises by monitoring, controlling access, and ensuring the safety of staff, visitors, and assets at all times. Responsibilities include regular patrols, inspecting security systems and equipment, responding to alerts or incidents, and maintaining detailed documentation of observations. Officers must enforce company security guidelines, oversee entry and exit records, and coordinate with supervisors or local authorities as needed. The role supports emergency processes, aids in risk identification, and requires maintaining a professional demeanor that deters unauthorized behavior.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine surveillance rounds and inspections of facilities.
• Control and monitor access points to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Operate and check security devices such as CCTV, access control systems, and alarms.
• Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.
• Maintain detailed and accurate reports of security-related activities and incidents.
• Enforce organizational security policies and procedures consistently.
• Manage visitor logs and staff entry/exit documentation.
• Collaborate with supervisors and local law enforcement when necessary.
• Assist with emergency protocols and risk assessments.
