Job Overview

Full Best Memorial College is looking for a dependable and disciplined Security Personnel to ensure a secure, safe, and orderly environment for all students, staff, visitors, and the school's physical assets.

Primary Responsibilities

• Regulate and oversee entry and exit points of the school grounds.
• Enforce security protocols among students, faculty, parents, visitors, and other individuals on site.
• Maintain detailed visitor logs and verify visitor identities as necessary.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or potential security threats immediately.
• Ensure the security of buildings, classrooms, gates, offices, and additional school facilities.
• Conduct routine patrols around the college premises.
• Prevent unauthorized access into restricted zones.
• Support the maintenance of discipline and order on campus as needed.
• Respond quickly to emergencies, adhering to established emergency guidelines.
• Document any incidents, accidents, security issues, or unusual activity and notify school authorities accordingly.
• Manage vehicle movements to guarantee proper entry and exit procedures.
• Protect school property and equipment against theft, damage, or misuse.
• Collaborate closely with school management and staff in sustaining a secure environment.
• Carry out any other security-related tasks as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of SSCE/WAEC certificate as a minimum educational qualification.
• Prior experience in a security role, ideally within an educational institution or comparable setting.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Maintains alertness and attention for prolonged periods.
• Demonstrates responsibility, honesty, punctuality, and discipline.
• Capable of working harmoniously with students, staff, parents, and visitors.
• Basic understanding of emergency protocols and security procedures is beneficial.
