Security Officer

Role Overview

The Security Officer is responsible for safeguarding the hotel premises, ensuring the safety of guests, employees, and property. This position involves active patrolling of assigned zones, monitoring security systems, and timely response to any incidents or emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols within the hotel grounds to prevent and detect any security threats or breaches.
• Oversee CCTV cameras and alarm systems to recognize unusual or suspicious behavior.
• Perform routine inspections of access points, including doors and windows, ensuring their security.
• Promptly address security incidents, breaches, or emergency situations as they arise.
• Implement and enforce all safety and security policies and regulations.
• Assist guests and staff by providing directions and other necessary support.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all security-related activities and incidents.
• Report all security concerns or breaches promptly to the security supervisor.
• Work closely with the security team to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Participate actively in security drills and ongoing training programs to sharpen security competencies.
• Manage and control access to restricted areas within the hotel premises.
• Support event security measures during various hotel functions and gatherings.
• Conduct operations in a safe, health-conscious, and environmentally responsible manner.
• Follow all company policies pertaining to environmental stewardship, health, and safety standards.
