Security Officer

About the Role

We are actively seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join 14Forty on a permanent basis, contracted for 56 hours each week. In this position, you will play a key role in maintaining the safety of our staff, visitors, and facilities while delivering excellent customer care. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate effectively as a proactive member of the security team and communicate clearly with others.
• Manage access and egress of buildings and their immediate surroundings.
• Provide and uphold a secure and efficient security operation.
• Protect the premises and those within it from harm or unauthorized access.
• Assist visitors and the public by addressing general inquiries.
• Represent 14Forty professionally, promoting a positive company image.

Candidate Profile

• Possess or be eligible to obtain a valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and build rapport easily with others.
• Demonstrate persistence and resilience in challenging situations.
• Bring prior experience in delivering outstanding customer service.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.
• Show initiative while being an effective team player.
• Capable of working efficiently under pressure.
• Pay attention to details diligently.
• Have knowledge of applicable health and safety regulations, criminal law, and security operations.
