Role Overview

The Security Manager role is a full-time, on-premises position located in Dubai. The individual will oversee daily security operations such as managing security personnel, organizing staff schedules, and enforcing adherence to company policies and operational guidelines. Key duties involve evaluating risks, formulating and executing security strategies, and monitoring physical sites to protect clients, employees, and assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise security workforce ensuring compliance with company standards.
• Coordinate shift planning and daily security activities.
• Analyze and mitigate security risks to minimize vulnerabilities.
• Develop comprehensive security plans tailored to client requirements.
• Conduct incident investigations and prepare detailed reports on security events.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate performance of security teams.
• Liaise closely with clients to understand and fulfill their security expectations.
• Ensure compliance with local laws and security regulations.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to enhance security protocols.
• Continuously review and improve security processes and systems.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong expertise in physical security management including risk assessment and incident response.
• Knowledge and skills in information security and cybersecurity to facilitate protection of sensitive data.
• Understanding of network security principles to safeguard IT infrastructure.
• Leadership and team management capabilities to effectively supervise security staff.
• Experience in security operations, preferably within facilities management or similar sectors in the UAE.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with clients and stakeholders.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to operate calmly under pressure.
• Diploma or degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, IT Security or related areas; professional certifications are a plus.
• Familiarity with UAE security regulations and local legal requirements.
• Proficiency in English mandatory; additional languages are advantageous.
