Role Overview
The full-time Security Guard position, based onsite in Dubai, involves monitoring premises diligently, controlling access points, and conducting regular patrols to safeguard people, property, and assets. Key duties include verifying identification, regulating visitor and contractor entry, observing for suspicious behavior, and reporting incidents according to company guidelines. The guard must respond calmly and effectively to emergencies, coordinate with supervisors and local authorities as necessary, and provide courteous assistance and information to occupants and visitors. Maintaining clear and accurate logs and reports is also essential.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and customer service capabilities for professional interaction with occupants, visitors, and colleagues.
- Expertise in physical and private security practices to protect premises and perform effective patrols.
- Awareness of personnel security to help ensure safe conduct among staff, contractors, and visitors.
- Relevant experience in security or facilities security within commercial or residential settings.
- Ability to stay alert, respond swiftly, and adhere to safety and emergency procedures under pressure.
- Competency in basic report writing and maintaining accurate incident documentation.
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, and patrol for extended durations.
- Knowledge of local security laws and a readiness to obtain necessary security certifications or licenses.
- Flexibility to work shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
