Role Summary

The Security Guard position is a full-time, on-site role stationed at RAK Packaging’s Al Hamra Free Zone location. The guard is responsible for protecting the company’s premises, assets, and staff by managing security protocols such as monitoring access points, verifying visitor and vehicle entry, and enforcing site safety rules. Routine patrols, timely incident reporting, and responding to alarms form key duties. The role demands maintaining a professional demeanor, offering courteous assistance, and collaborating with management or external security personnel as necessary, all to foster a secure work environment.

Responsibilities

• Secure company buildings, assets, and employees by controlling access and monitoring entry/exit points.
• Conduct regular patrols throughout the premises to identify and address security risks.
• Verify identities of visitors and manage vehicle entries to ensure authorized access only.
• Promptly report and document any unusual incidents or alarms in accordance with company procedures.
• Support personnel safety and provide polite assistance to employees and visitors.
• Coordinate with management or external security teams when additional security actions are needed.
• Demonstrate adherence to company policies and security guidelines at all times.

Required Qualifications

• Strong expertise in physical and private security including patrol duties, access control, and incident response.
• Proficient in personnel security measures such as identity verification and protecting staff and property.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills for interacting respectfully with all stakeholders.
• Prior experience in security roles, law enforcement, or related fields, ideally within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Capability to remain on foot and operate in various indoor/outdoor conditions for extended durations with flexibility for shift work including weekends and holidays.
• Competent in basic report writing and documentation; knowledge of CCTV systems, access control technologies, and radio communications is a plus.
• Possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent; additional security certifications or formal training are advantageous.
