Security Guard

About the Role

As a Security Guard at Plastipak, you will support the security manager to ensure the safety and security of the site. The company is committed to maintaining high standards and fostering a positive team environment, recognized among America’s Safest Companies.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrolling the premises to identify any signs of intrusion and performing security checks on doors, windows, and gates.
• Authorizing and monitoring the entry and exit of employees and visitors to prevent theft and maintain overall site safety.
• Contacting emergency services when necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Availability to work 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:10 PM in a recurring cycle of 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Work Schedule

Scheduled 12-hour shifts with a rotating 2-week cycle to maintain balance and routine.
