Role Overview

This full-time position based in Bhubaneswar involves on-site security responsibilities. The Security Guard will oversee the premises by controlling access points, conducting patrols to deter unauthorized entry, theft, or damage, and managing incidents promptly and effectively. Responsibilities extend to responding to alarms, following emergency protocols, maintaining detailed records, and offering clear communication and assistance to visitors and employees to uphold safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise premises by controlling entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized access.
• Perform regular patrols to detect and prevent theft, vandalism, or other security breaches.
• Observe surroundings vigilantly and report any suspicious activity or incidents promptly.
• Respond appropriately to alarms and adhere to established emergency procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs and detailed reports of daily activities and incidents.
• Interact professionally with visitors and staff, providing instructions and basic support to ensure safety compliance.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other security personnel to maintain a secure environment.

Requirements

• Strong expertise in physical and private security measures to protect assets and people.
• Skills in personnel security including managing access control for staff and visitors.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills for effective communication and handling inquiries.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and strictly follow security and emergency guidelines.
• Basic competence in report writing and meticulous attention to detail for documentation.
• Good physical fitness with capability to stand, walk, and patrol extensively.
• Previous security experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Minimum educational qualification of high school diploma or equivalent and readiness to undergo background verification and necessary training.
