Our operations include various forming processes such as Plate Rolling, Pressing, and Section Rolling. We serve multiple sectors including oil and gas, mining, infrastructure, and commercial industries across Western Australia and beyond.
Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time Section Roll Operator to join our team on-site in Welshpool. The operator will handle Roundo and other section roll machinery to form structural shapes and members as required.
Responsibilities
- Operate Roundo and other section rolling machines to produce required structural sections.
- Ensure adherence to technical drawings and product specifications during manufacturing.
- Maintain accuracy and precision in shaping structural components like PFC, Equal Angle, Pipe, Universal Beams, and Columns.
- Handle materials and equipment requiring physical strength and endurance.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Prior experience operating section roll machines.
- Familiarity with different structural members such as PFC, Equal Angle, Pipe, Universal Beams, and Columns.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision in work quality.
- Physical capability to manage demanding tasks involving heavy materials and equipment.
- Experience in the steel fabrication industry is advantageous.
