About the Role
We Love X is seeking a results-oriented SEA Manager with strong analytical capabilities and commercial insight to manage medium to large paid search campaigns end-to-end. The role entails direct oversight of campaign management and optimization while deeply analyzing performance factors including profitability and growth metrics. The ideal candidate uses data insights to pinpoint risks and opportunities, tests hypotheses, and implements strategies that lead to measurable improvements. This position calls for a hands-on professional who is technically proficient and also strategically minded to enhance broader business impacts beyond campaigns.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize medium to large paid search accounts, focusing on profitability, margin enhancement, traffic quality, and account expansion.
- Design, execute, and refine campaigns on Google Ads and Microsoft Ads platforms.
- Analyze performance data across accounts and sales funnels to identify root causes and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Seek growth opportunities through keyword research, testing, market competitor analysis, and optimizing the traffic mix.
- Create and assess data-driven tests related to bidding strategies, keyword selection, ad content, and campaign architecture.
- Maintain strict account hygiene by implementing best practices consistently across campaigns.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, market, and competitor changes to identify potential opportunities or threats.
- Collaborate effectively with Sales and Product teams and communicate insights to support overall business performance improvements.
Necessary Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience managing and scaling SEA campaigns across diverse markets or client accounts.
- Expertise with Google Ads and Microsoft Ads platforms including practical, hands-on skills.
- Thorough understanding of core SEA metrics such as traffic quality, Cost Per Acquisition (CPA), Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS), profitability, and margin optimization.
- Strong analytical acumen with an emphasis on data-informed decision-making and problem-solving.
- Proficiency in using Google Ads Editor and spreadsheet software like Excel or Google Sheets.
- Comprehensive knowledge of campaign framework including keywords, bidding strategies, ad copywriting, conversion tracking, and account hygiene.
- A proactive, experimental approach to ongoing optimization efforts.
- Effective communication skills and ability to operate both independently and collaboratively.
- A growth mindset with openness to constructive feedback.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of German or additional languages is advantageous.
