Scientist / Senior Scientist, RNA Analytical Development

About the Role

We are seeking an analytical development scientist specialized in RNA modalities who excels at method development, platform scalability, and translational impact. This role involves creating analytical systems foundational to an RNA therapeutics platform.

The organisation focuses on building a biotech-style translational engine to advance oligonucleotide, mRNA, and conjugate programs from discovery through clinical stages. Responsibilities

As a Scientist or Senior Scientist in RNA Analytical Development, you will:

• Design and implement phase-appropriate analytical strategies across raw materials (e.g., novel lipids, pDNA, ligands), drug substances (mRNA, ASOs, siRNA, gRNA), and drug products (LNPs and conjugated oligos).
• Define critical quality attributes (CQAs) and establish orthogonal analytical workflows using HPLC, LC-MS, CE, UV, qPCR, DLS, and TEM.
• Develop scalable workflows aligned with discovery through investigational new drug (IND) programs.
• Create standard operating procedures (SOPs), devise validation plans, and maintain thorough documentation using LIMS and ELN systems.

Requirements

• PhD degree in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
• Extensive experience with liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC-MS), high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS), capillary electrophoresis-sodium dodecyl sulfate (CE-SDS), and multiscale purification methods.
• Proficient in analyzing modified oligonucleotides and ligand-oligo conjugates.
