Role Summary

As a Scientific Editor focused on Medical Physics, your primary responsibility is to assess and refine research manuscripts. You will ensure the scientific content is accurate and discipline-specific terminology is correctly applied, while improving language clarity and coherence to aid publication in prominent journals worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Critically review and edit manuscripts to boost clarity, coherence, and readability while preserving the authors' original intent.
• Validate the accuracy, consistency, and appropriateness of specialized terminology and scientific arguments for the intended readership.
• Enhance the presentation of intricate research data to improve its communication and readiness for publication.
• Ensure the final manuscript adheres to academic writing standards, is free from ambiguous or illogical sentences, and complies with journal-specific formatting guidelines when applicable.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A PhD in Nuclear Medicine or Medical Physics is mandatory.
• A strong publication history featuring 5 to 10 or more first-author papers.
• Experience in peer reviewing scientific articles.
• Capability to critically analyze study design, methods, statistical approaches, and data interpretation.
• Proven skill in evaluating scientific content for discipline-specific precision.
• Excellent command of written English with meticulous attention to detail.
• Previous experience in scientific editing or academic publishing is desirable.
