Position Overview
At our Jumbo store in Amsterdam, cleanliness shines both inside and out—from spotless registers to gleaming floors. It’s so pristine that you could almost eat our fresh products off the ground. While that’s figurative, the joy you get from keeping our store in top shape is absolutely real.
Main Tasks
As a Schoonmaker, you will be maintaining a tidy and welcoming environment for our customers. Your duties will alternate throughout the day, making your job varied and engaging. You'll often interact with customers during store hours, whether assisting them directly or coordinating with colleagues.
- Clean shelves, counters, registers, and ensure store windows are spotless.
- Maintain cleanliness in staff areas including the canteen, restrooms, and kitchen.
- Handle outdoor cleaning duties such as replacing trash bags, disposing of waste, and tidying up areas around the store.
