Position Overview

The Scan Coordinator role at Sprouts Farmers Market involves critical tasks centered around maintaining accurate pricing in the store, supporting a seamless shopping experience for customers, and ensuring all price displays and promotions are current and correct.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute daily, weekly, and monthly updates to pricing, including replacing shelf signs, tags, and promotional materials.
• Confirm that weekly advertisement prices, promotional pricing, and signage across departments match accurately.
• Ensure all price-related activities comply with company policies and relevant government regulations.
• Perform tasks with speed and precision to uphold pricing integrity throughout the store.
• Adapt effectively to a fast-paced retail environment, demonstrating a proactive approach to duties.

Candidate Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or an equivalent credential, possessing 1 to 3 months of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Possess strong analytical capabilities and organizational skills necessary to manage scanning programs and maintain comprehensive reports and schedules, as well as understand accounting and billing procedures.
• Exhibit proficient mathematical aptitude and be familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
• Display a friendly and outgoing demeanor with a positive attitude, enabling pleasant interactions with customers, team members, and vendors.
• Be flexible to work varied shifts and days depending on business needs.
• Demonstrate ability to read price tags clearly, create and post pricing signage, and operate tools such as staplers, scanners, and computers for pricing activation, including the safe use of step ladders.
• Meet physical demands including moving boxes up to 17 lbs vertically and horizontally within an eight-foot range for up to one hour, walking up to 4 miles in an eight-hour shift, and performing repetitive crouching, kneeling, and squatting near the floor up to 50 hours.
