Scan Coordinator / DSD Receiver

Role Overview

The Scan Coordinator / Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Receiver plays a key role in supporting price accuracy and the integrity of product data within the store environment, along with handling delivery inspections.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure a consistent, efficient, and positive experience for customers at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and an organized appearance of workstations.
• Validate prices, barcodes, and signage; implement price updates and resolve inconsistencies.
• Manage digital records related to inventory and pricing; may also provide customer service and cashier support.
• Verify shelf tags and signs before placement to confirm price accuracy.
• Guarantee that all pricing signs are displayed properly across shelves, displays, and endcaps.
• Daily check and respond to emails from DSD vendors regarding promotional activities and advertisements.
• Receive and inspect incoming goods delivered via DSD, confirming correct quantities and values within the store management system.
• Monitor vendor sections on both the sales floor and backstock areas.
• Support Scan Coordinator duties related to tagging and signage following receiving hours.
• Carry out additional related tasks as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong customer service aptitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Clear verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Proficient in use of personal computers and various software applications.

Physical Requirements

• Must be capable of lifting weights up to 50 pounds at times.
• Ability to move throughout and access all sections of the supermarket.
