About the Company
One75mb HRM Pvt Ltd. is currently looking to hire a seasoned SAS Analyst with extensive experience in SAS Anti-Money Laundering (AML) solutions, SAS Viya, SAS programming, SQL, and Python. The position is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Role Overview
The role demands robust technical skills, effective communication, and the capacity to deliver high-quality AML technology solutions within an agile financial compliance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and provide ongoing support for applications using SAS Platform and SAS Viya technologies.
- Configure and maintain SAS AML versions 7.2 and above, encompassing transaction monitoring, alert generation, workflow management, and comprehensive reporting.
- Create, refine, and troubleshoot advanced SQL queries along with ETL processes and data integration workflows.
- Develop automation scripts using Python to streamline operations and minimize manual workload.
- Interpret business, compliance, and regulatory requirements and translate them into technical AML solutions.
- Conduct unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), defect troubleshooting, production deployment, and post-deployment assessments.
- Work collaboratively with teams across Compliance, Business, Data Warehouse, Infrastructure, DevOps, and Vendors during project lifecycles.
- Develop technical documentation including solution designs and deployment plans.
- Address production environment issues, optimize performance, perform root cause analyses, and enhance code quality.
- Support change and release management activities along with application governance.
Required Qualifications
- Over 5 years of software development, implementation, and maintenance experience.
- Hands-on proficiency with SAS Platform and SAS Viya.
- Expertise in SAS AML (version 7.2 or later).
- Strong programming capabilities in SAS, SQL, and Python.
- Experience with data analysis, ETL, data migration, and database architecture.
- Good understanding of AML principles including transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, customer risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
- Skill in debugging, troubleshooting, and enhancing system performance.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and communication aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and within cross-disciplinary teams.
Additional Skills
- Background in banking and financial services sector.
- Knowledge of Oracle databases including query optimization and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix OS environments.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems such as Git, and software release management.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
Desirable Skills
- Exposure to SAS Model Manager, SAS Intelligent Decisioning, or other components within SAS Viya.
- Experience with cloud-based solutions and containerization technologies.
- Prior experience supporting auditing and compliance efforts in regulated financial institutions.
