About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned SAP Security and Governance Risk Compliance (GRC) Consultant to oversee SAP authorization frameworks, role management, user access controls, and compliance across diverse SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and sustain SAP security roles and permissions across SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW, APO, CRM, and Fiori platforms.
- Handle user administration tasks including onboarding, modifications, locking/unlocking accounts, and controlling access provisioning and deprovisioning.
- Redesign and optimize roles and resolve authorization-related issues.
- Conduct Segregation of Duties (SoD) assessments and apply remediations via SAP GRC Access Control tools.
- Perform User Access Reviews, Firefighter transactions monitoring, and provide audit support.
- Work closely with business stakeholders and functional teams to understand and fulfill security demands.
- Contribute to SAP system upgrades, migrations, and implementations from a security standpoint.
- Troubleshoot authorization problems using tools such as SU53, ST01, STAUTHTRACE, SUIM, and related SAP security transactions.
- Ensure adherence to SOX, ITGC, and internal audit standards.
- Prepare comprehensive security documentation, access frameworks, and audit evidence to support compliance.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Extensive hands-on experience with SAP Security and Authorization frameworks.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining roles, including Single, Composite, and Derived Roles.
- Familiarity with SAP GRC Access Control modules (ARA, ARM, EAM, BRM).
- Understanding of SAP Fiori Security and Gateway authorization schemes.
- Solid knowledge of SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA Security administration.
- Experience in Security Administration and User Management practices.
- Capability in SoD analysis, risk mitigation, and compliance control measures.
- Experience supporting audit and regulatory compliance processes.
Preferred Skills
- Possession of SAP Security Certification.
- Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Security, Identity Authentication Service (IAS), Identity Provisioning Service (IPS), or Cloud Identity solutions.
- Insight into SAP HANA Database Security.
