Job Overview
The ideal candidate must possess practical expertise in designing, configuring, and supporting SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules within a manufacturing or factory setting. Extensive knowledge of PP Variant Configuration (VC) is essential, alongside experience with at least two full-cycle SAP PP and QM implementations in ECC or S4.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and document project-related meetings with business stakeholders.
- Collect detailed requirements from business users related to approved projects and enhancements, and prepare functional specification documents.
- Participate actively in the configuration, implementation, and support of SAP PP with Variant Configuration and QM modules, integrating with factory automation systems.
- Collaborate closely with SAP support team members, including developers, covering all project phases: analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and supporting post-production maintenance.
Technical Competencies
- Strong configuration skills in SAP PP and QM modules tailored for factory environments in both ECC and S4 platforms.
- Proven extensive experience with PP Variant Configuration in ECC and S4 systems.
- Skilled in systems integration and creating technical interfaces via SAP Plant Connectivity (PCo) and standard connectors linking ERP with shop floor operations.
- Capable of configuring print outputs and specifying requirements for development teams.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, adaptability, responsiveness, and presentation abilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including creating professional documentation for standards and procedures.
- Demonstrates strong initiative and multitasking capabilities to manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines and priorities.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Between 10 to 15 years of experience in SAP PP, including at least two full life cycle implementations.
