Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop SAP Production Planning (PP) and Quality Management (QM) modules to align with business needs and maintain system integrity.
• Maintain and support SAP PP and QM functionalities to ensure system stability and performance.
• Translate business requirements into robust process and technological SAP solutions that conform to the global template and meet functional design specifications.
• Lead and participate in at least two full lifecycle SAP implementations with a functional and technical proficiency focus.
• Utilize technical knowledge of ABAP and other related concepts relevant to PP, QM, and Plant Maintenance (PM) modules.
• Collaborate with team members and consulting partners to design, build, test, and deploy SAP Quality Management solutions.
• Develop comprehensive test scripts; oversee integration and regression testing phases.
• Manage multiple tasks and issues efficiently, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budget while surpassing expectations.
• Ensure solutions implemented are consistent with the SAP S/4HANA roadmap.
• Continuously update and develop knowledge in business processes, SAP application features, and configuration standards.
• Recommend continuous operational and business process improvements to boost service efficiency.
• Propose functional and technical enhancements to SAP applications.
• Work collaboratively with local and global teams, sharing expertise to foster team success.
• Provide expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance, translating business needs into system specifications and supporting custom system enhancements and integrations.
• Document new functionality requirements and develop functional design specifications.
• Support deployment and post-production phases of custom SAP application enhancements.
• Maintain strong knowledge of SAP structures, configuration standards, object dependencies, and database tables.

Required Skills and Experience

• 4 to 8 years of experience working extensively in SAP PP and QM modules.
• Proven hands-on configuration expertise in manufacturing, process industries, repetitive manufacturing, and plant maintenance within SAP PP.
• Experience in SAP QM including inspection planning, quality certificates, measurement inspection characteristics, quality notifications, and Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) integration.
• Familiarity with Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS) module.
• Ability to integrate SAP PM with external systems.
• Experience working in offshore and onsite support environments.
• Hands-on experience in the design and blueprint stages of SAP transformation projects and handling data conversions.
• Proficient in documenting functional specifications for reports, configuration changes, and conducting Functional Integration Testing (FIT) and System Integration Testing (SIT).
• Automotive industry experience is considered an advantage.

Education and Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of designing and implementing SAP projects or supporting operations.
• At least one full lifecycle SAP PP/QM implementation completed.

Additional Information

• Full-time position based in Hyderabad; immediate joiners with a maximum notice period of 30 days are preferred.
• The role requires working onsite.
