Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior SAP CPI Implementation Specialist to join the GDS Integration practice. This key position offers the chance to contribute significantly to EY's success by overseeing the integration strategy and implementation for diverse client landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business and functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored integration solutions.
• Create precise technical specification documents based on business needs.
• Implement both custom and standard integration packages.
• Utilize knowledge of SAP Cloud Connector and CPI cockpit effectively.
• Develop and maintain Java and Groovy scripts for integration enhancements.
• Manage SAP CPI support tasks and perform thorough root cause analysis on recurrent or critical problems, proposing viable solutions.
• Conduct unit, system, and integration testing throughout project phases and document outcomes comprehensively.

Skills and Expertise

• Proficiency in business process orchestration tools such as SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), Dell Boomi, SAP PI/PO.
• Hands-on experience delivering integration projects involving requirement gathering, system landscape analysis, technical design, and interface development.
• Expertise in formulating integration strategies for hybrid environments combining on-premise and cloud systems such as SuccessFactors, S4HANA, Ariba.
• Exposure to diverse business scenarios (A2A and B2B) and working knowledge of major adapters like SFTP, SOAP, REST, IDOC, ODATA, JDBC, and SuccessFactors connectors.
• Understanding of security protocols, including SSL and PGP encryption.
• Experience using Groovy scripting is advantageous.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• A minimum of 9 years of progressive experience in development roles, showcasing increasing responsibilities.
• SAP certification credentials are considered a plus.
