SAP CPI Consultant

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP CPI Consultant to manage and enhance SAP Cloud Platform Integration solutions. The role entails responsibility for incident and change request resolution, supporting the SAP CPI module effectively by adhering to service level agreements (SLAs), and maintaining timely communication. The candidate will be involved in designing, developing, troubleshooting, and supporting integration flows between cloud and on-premise SAP products.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incident and change requests related to the SAP CPI module ensuring SLA compliance and prompt ticket resolution.
• Develop inbound and outbound interfaces connecting cloud and on-premise SAP environments.
• Configure and extend standard integration flows (iFlows) and design custom iFlows including sub-processes and exception handling.
• Manage various SAP CPI integration adapters such as SFSF, ODATA, SFTP, IDOC, SOAP, HTTP, Process Direct, and REST to facilitate communication between systems.
• Develop value mappings and implement Groovy scripts within iFlows for customized processing.
• Perform data conversions among formats like JSON to XML and CSV to XML.
• Utilize various CPI pallet features such as integration patterns, message transformation, enrichment, and splitting.
• Employ SAP Business Technology Platform tools and handle security aspects including encryption, decryption, and SSH keys.
• Implement EDI integrations and oversee API management tasks.
• Design integration interfaces and deliver solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Operate SAP Cloud Platform Integration, SAP HANA Cloud Integration, and SAP Process Orchestration platforms.
• Utilize SAP Cloud Connector and CPI cockpit as part of deployment and monitoring processes.
• Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and improvement recommendations for SAP CPI applications.
• Create and execute test plans, including test data preparation and script execution.
• Prepare user training materials and conduct training sessions for business users.
• Monitor system performance continuously to recommend enhancements and process improvements.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent university qualification.
• Have a minimum of four years of experience in designing, developing, supporting, and implementing SAP CPI integration flows.
• Strong functional configuration and design experience with SAP CPI iFlows and API Management (APIM).
• Demonstrated capability to identify and suggest business process or system enhancements proactively.
• Act as a bridge between technical teams and client business units, providing mentorship and guidance to junior staff.
• Excellent client communication and interpersonal skills.
• Skilled at debugging, reverse engineering, and solving complex problems analytically.
• Capable of cross-functional collaboration with internal and external consultants.
• Strong knowledge of multi-module interfaces within SAP.
• Experienced in providing business-user-oriented solutions and support.
