Role Overview
We are seeking experienced SAP CPI Consultants to join our SAP practice. The professional will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining integration solutions using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) and SAP Integration Suite.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and support SAP CPI and SAP Integration Suite-based integration solutions.
- Create and maintain iFlows for integrating cloud-to-cloud and cloud-to-on-premise systems.
- Design integration scenarios using protocols and services including SOAP, REST, IDoc, RFC, and OData.
- Write custom integration scripts using Groovy scripting language.
- Configure necessary components such as adapters, message mappings, content modifiers, routers, and exception handlers.
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration interfaces, optimizing performance.
- Work collaboratively with business and technical teams to capture and understand integration requirements.
- Conduct unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT) support, resolve defects, and provide production support.
- Prepare detailed technical specifications and document integration processes.
- Participate in various project phases including implementation, rollout, migration, upgrades, and ongoing support.
- Support integration with SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Ensure compliance with integration best practices, security protocols, and governance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of practical experience with SAP CPI and SAP Integration Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech), MCA, M.Sc, MBA, or any postgraduate degree.
Essential Technical Skills
- Strong expertise with SAP CPI and SAP Cloud Platform Integration.
- Proficiency in SAP Integration Suite and iFlows development.
- Experience in Groovy scripting for custom integration logic.
- Knowledge of OData services, REST APIs, and SOAP APIs integration.
- Competence in message mapping and API integration within SAP Cloud Platform.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with SAP PO/PI, SAP Event Mesh, SAP BTP, SAP S/4HANA integration.
- Knowledge of Cloud Foundry, API management, Open Connectors.
- Experience with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Java programming.
Additional Information
- Profiles primarily focused on end-user roles, support-only, SAP Basis, or functional without CPI exposure will not be considered.
- Training or certification-only candidates, interns/trainees, and freshers are excluded.
