SAP CO Consultant

Role Overview

This opportunity is with a multinational corporation based in Mohali, Punjab, seeking a seasoned SAP CO Consultant to lead and support SAP Controlling module initiatives.

Key Responsibilities and Expertise

• Leverage 8 to 12 years of experience in SAP CO module implementation and ongoing support to deliver robust solutions.
• Apply comprehensive knowledge of financial accounting principles, cost accounting, and controlling methodologies.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable and efficient SAP CO system designs and configurations.
• Drive complete SAP lifecycle projects including requirement analysis, design, configuration, rigorous testing, and post-go-live support, with preference for candidates experienced in S/4HANA environments.

Technical Competencies

• Expertise across key SAP Controlling sub-modules: Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders (IO), Product Costing (PC), Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), and Management Accounting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to address complex system and process challenges.
• General understanding of the intersection between business needs, technology, protection mechanisms, and industry-specific characteristics.
• Solid grasp of application security, integration layers, database structures, and architectural platforms.
• Practical experience with automation tools spanning both open source and enterprise-grade solutions.
• Background in crafting and deploying test frameworks, maintaining test repositories, and developing automation scripts to enhance quality assurance.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams composed of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite complemented by disciplined project management practices.
• Advantageous: ABAP debugging skills to support issue resolution and system customization.

Eligibility and Additional Information

Applicants must hold at least a graduate degree. This role supports the company's evolving SAP Controlling processes with strategic contributions expected from the consultant.

Compensation Details

Salary range offered is between 2,000,000 and 2,750,000 Indian Rupees per annum.
