SAP C4C Consultant

Role Overview and Responsibilities

This role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements to develop both functional designs and technical specifications within SAP Cloud for Customer (C4C). The consultant will configure various C4C areas including roles, access control, organizational structure, workflows, approval processes, surveys, and reporting metrics. Custom development is required using SAP Cloud Applications Studio, creating business objects, extension fields, embedded components, and web services. The consultant will build and enhance input validations and business logic through ABSL scripting and event handling. Designing and supporting integrations between C4C and SAP S/4HANA using SAP Integration Suite (CPI) is essential, involving OData APIs and data replication tasks.

Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting data synchronization issues between C4C and ERP systems, overseeing data migration activities such as template creation and validation, preparing both functional and technical documentation, executing unit and integration testing, and supporting user acceptance testing alongside cutover preparations. Post go-live application management support will involve issue diagnosis and corrective deployments. Collaboration with other teams like integration, basis, and frontend application groups is a key part of cross-system change management.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum five years of extensive hands-on experience with SAP C4C, covering SDK development and functional configuration.
• Strong proficiency in SAP Cloud Applications Studio including PDI, ABSL scripting, BODL, custom business objects, extension fields, and embedded components, as well as OData service lifecycle management.
• Solid functional expertise in C4C Sales processes (accounts, contacts, leads, opportunities, activities) and/or Service processes (ticketing, SLAs, categorization).
• Experience managing C4C master data involving business partners, employees, organizational management and ID mapping with ERP/S/4HANA systems.
• Proficient in integration tasks using SAP CPI / Integration Suite, familiar with standard C4C–ERP/S4 pre-packaged content, API protocols (OData/SOAP), and message monitoring.
• Capability to resolve replication and synchronization defects between SAP C4C and ERP or S/4HANA environments.
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities, with experience partnering directly with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with SAP Sales/Service Cloud V2 or involved in migrations from C4C to the V2 platform.
• Certification in SAP C4C, Sales Cloud, or SAP Cloud Applications Studio is advantageous.
• Industry-specific sales process experience in sectors such as automotive, retail, or financial services is a plus.

Education

Applicants should possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or hold equivalent practical experience.
