Role Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SAP applications using ABAP language, including reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, workflows, BAPI, RFCs, and debugging activities.
• Implement SAP enhancement framework objects such as BADIs and User Exits effectively.
• Create and support Adobe forms and SAP workflows as a key deliverable.
• Work with SAP HANA database elements like CDS Views, AMDPs, SQL Scripts, Calculation Views, and stored procedures, optimizing ABAP code for high performance in-memory computing.
• Apply performance tuning strategies for ABAP programs and SQL queries to enhance efficiency.
• Participate in SAP system upgrades, installation of support packages, and application of SAP notes.
• Design, develop, and maintain SAP Fiori applications to improve user experience.
• Utilize SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) and ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP) in development tasks.
• Develop and configure SAP Fiori, including SAPUI5 and SAP Gateway OData services.
• Manage backend connectivity using SAP Gateway and OData protocol.
• Use GitLab for version control and code management.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to analyze requirements and implement solutions within SAP and integrated systems.

Candidate Qualifications

• At least 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP and related technologies.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Expertise in SAP ABAP development within S/4 HANA environments.
• Knowledge of SAPUI5, SAP Gateway, and OData service development and integration is preferred.
• Proven leadership capabilities, able to guide, mentor, and nurture technical teams for high performance.
• Experience working in an international, collaborative setting with a willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
