SAP ABAP Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking a SAP ABAP Consultant with 5 to 8 years of professional experience based in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and customizing SAP ABAP solutions including programs, interfaces, reports, and forms to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities and Required Expertise

• Design and develop SAP ABAP components such as reports, conversions, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (commonly known as RICEF objects).
• Develop and maintain CDS Views, OData services, and utilize RAP (RESTful ABAP programming model).
• Engage with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) functionalities as part of development tasks.
• Implement user exits, BAdIs, BAPIs, and SAP enhancement techniques effectively.
• Utilize ABAP development tools including ABAP Workbench, ADT, and Eclipse for efficient coding and debugging.
• Work extensively with SAP Data Dictionary objects, function modules, and ALV report frameworks.
• Handle integration technologies such as IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, and web services for seamless system communication.
• Participate in SAP Rollout, Implementation projects along with master data configuration and ongoing support engagements.
• Understand SAP modules like FI/CO, SD, MM, and PP, focusing on their integration aspects with ABAP development.
• Apply Object-Oriented ABAP concepts including ABAP OO and Web Dynpro development.
• Demonstrate strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and effective communication skills.
