Sanitation Operator

About the Role

Krispy Kreme, established in 1937, is known for preparing fresh doughnuts from the founder’s original recipe and for the signature Hot Light that signals when doughnuts are being made in the shop. In this role, you will help keep the store environment clean, welcoming, and ready for customers by maintaining cleanliness inside the location, around the building, and in the parking area.

What You Will Do

• Clean all assigned areas both inside and outside the store by sweeping as needed.
• Mop the designated indoor spaces.
• Spray and maintain the parking lot area and wash the shop windows.
• Sanitize, stock, and keep the bathrooms clean and ready for use.
• Ensure the customer area stays tidy and that tables and chairs are properly sanitized.
• Organize and maintain stockroom supplies in an orderly way.

What We’re Looking For

• No prior work experience is required.
• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You should support an inclusive, fair, and respectful workplace where people are encouraged to be themselves.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are important.
• You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Physical Requirements and Work Conditions

• This job may involve physical effort of up to 50 pounds occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly while moving objects.
• Work may involve both indoor and outdoor environmental exposure.
• The shop environment may include changing temperatures and noise levels.
• You may be exposed to allergens, including but not limited to nuts.
• You may also work around production or processing noise.
