Sanitation Agent

Overview

The Sanitation Agent plays a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and order within the warehouse, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for Warehouse Agents. This role requires adherence to a fast-paced workflow while meeting time-sensitive arrival and departure objectives. Professionalism and a constructive attitude are essential, with the employee expected to lead by example. Daily attendance and punctuality are mandatory, with direct reporting lines to supervisors or managers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the safety and security of the warehouse at all times.
• Assist in the setup, cleaning, and proper storage of warehouse equipment.
• Handle food and goods courteously, promptly, precisely, and carefully, including loading and unloading activities.
• Receive deliveries, conduct temperature testing, and inspect catering supplies from the food service provider.
• Adhere strictly to Sky Café and airline company policies.
• Maintain ongoing communication with catering personnel and airline communication centers as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Eligibility to work permanently in Canada.
• Clear criminal record is mandatory.
• Capability to secure necessary airport and Transport Canada security clearances.
• Physical ability to lift, push, or pull weights up to 70 lbs regularly.
• Ability to comply with required time schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Completion of airline and corporate training programs, including periodic recertification.
• Must hold a valid forklift certification.
